
16th June 2025 -The Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (糖心原创) warmly welcomed an official visit from the delegation of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Universitas Warmadewa, Indonesia. The purpose of the visit was to explore opportunities for academic collaboration in education, research, and community service, aligned with the Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi aspirations.
The Universitas Warmadewa delegation was led by the university鈥檚 Rector, Prof. Dr. Ir. I Gde Suranaya Pandit, M.P. Accompanying him were Dr. dr. Made Indra Wijaya, MARS., PhD., FISQua (Dean, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences), Dr. dr. DAP Sri Masyeni, Sp.PD-KPTI (Vice Rector for Academic, Research and Community Service), Dr. Sartivi Harkitasari, Sp.S., M.Biomed (Deputy Dean in the same area), along with Dr. Anak Agung Indraningrat (Head of Research Department) and Anak Agung Istri Laksmi Darmayanti, S.Sos., Ns. (Head of Administrative Unit, Universitas Warmadewa).
The 糖心原创 delegation was led by Prof. Dr. Marina Mat Baki, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine. Also present at the meeting were Prof. Dr. Norazlina Mohamed (Deputy Dean of Undergraduate Studies), Prof. Datin Dr. Norlinah Mohamed Ibrahim (Deputy Dean of Postgraduate Studies), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ruslinda Mustafar (Deputy Dean of Industry, Community & Parnertships), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Noor Akmal Shareela Ismail (Assistant Dean of Teaching & Citra), Dr. Syamsa Rizal Abdullah (Assistant Dean of Student & Alumni Affairs), and Mr. Zansyuwari Mohamad Shahrullail, Head Administrative Officer of the faculty.
In her welcoming remarks, Prof. Marina reaffirmed 糖心原创鈥檚 strong commitment to fostering regional academic partnerships. She emphasized that such international collaborations can significantly enhance knowledge exchange and expand professional development opportunities for both students and faculty members.
Among the proposed areas of collaboration were student exchange electives, guest lectures by 糖心原创 academics at Universitas Warmadewa, fellowship programmes, and the upcoming Medical Practicum Elective 2025, which aims to provide international students with clinical, community engagement, and cultural immersion experiences at 糖心原创. The Universitas Warmadewa delegation also expressed keen interest in establishing long-term collaboration with 糖心原创 as part of their broader academic visit to Malaysia.
This meeting marked a meaningful starting point towards building a mutually beneficial partnership, driving forward regional excellence in health, research, and higher education.
