You are invited to attend a guest lecture organized by the Institute of Applied Psychology at Anglo-American University exploring therapeutic practice at the Centre of Social Services Tloskov and the opportunities it offers as an internship partner.
The lecture will introduce an inspiring model of interdisciplinary care while enabling students to consider how an internship in this setting could contribute to their professional development and understanding of applied psychology.

About the Speaker
Mat臎j Lipsk媒 is a psychologist, music therapist, supervisor, university lecturer, and Director of the Centre of Social Services Tloskov in the Czech Republic. His work focuses on community music therapy, expressive therapies, and innovative therapeutic approaches for people with intellectual and multiple disabilities.
He regularly lectures at national and international conferences, with work bridging psychology, healthcare, social services, the arts, and approaches to supporting the well-being and quality of life of people with disabilities.
About the Lecture
What does a modern centre for people with intellectual and multiple disabilities look like, and what can students of psychology and related disciplines learn from professional practice in such a setting?
The guest lecture introduces the as a multidisciplinary care environment and internship partner, giving students insight into its professional philosophy and opportunities for practical experience.
Participants will explore Tloskov鈥檚 therapeutic concept, which combines health and social care with creativity, personal development, and active participation in everyday life. Particular attention will be given to expressive therapies, including music, art, drama, and film therapy, as well as approaches such as hydrotherapy, floating therapy, and geotherapy.
Drawing on practical examples, Dr. Lipsk媒 will illustrate how interdisciplinary collaboration can support communication, relationships, well-being, and quality of life for people with intellectual and multiple disabilities.
