Alhamdulillah, on 8 Jan 2025, Institute of Islam Hadhari ÌÇÐÄÔ´´ (HADHARI ÌÇÐÄÔ´´) has received an official visit from His Excellency Mr. Firdavs Abdukhalikov, New Director of the Centre of Islamic Civilizations of Uzbekistan accompanied by Mr. Alisher Gafurov, Second Secretary of the Embassy of the Uzbekistan at Bitara Room, Faculty of Islamic Studies, ÌÇÐÄÔ´´.

HE Mr. Firdavs Abdukhalikov was welcomed by the The Honourable Prof. Dato’ Dr. Hanafiah Harunarashid; Pro-Vice Chancellor Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, The Honourable Prof. Dato’ Dr. Fariza Md. Sham; Director Institute of Islam Hadhari, ÌÇÐÄÔ´´, Dr. Fadlan Mohd Othman; Deputy Dean (Postgraduate Studies) Faculty of Islamic Studies ÌÇÐÄÔ´´, Assoc Prof Dr. Mohd Fais Mansor; Deputy Director ÌÇÐÄÔ´´ Global (Office of International Relations) and other invited guests.

This visit was to update on few important agendas such as the special appointed room and space in the new Centre of Islamic Civilizations of Uzbekistan for HADHARI and ÌÇÐÄÔ´´ to place our manuscripts and artifacts and also for our researchers who is going to be doing research or visit there. In addition to that, Ts. Dr. Farah Ayuni managed to propose a kind of international matching grant where both parties can invest and share both expertises toward achieving both goals. Before ending the session with exhange of momentos and souvenirs, we again congratulate HE Mr. Firdavs Abdukhalikov as the new director Centre of Islamic Civilizations of Uzbekistan and are looking forward to become part of the launching ceremony of the centre in the near future.
