Originally from Prague, Liz spent her formative years in the UK, Canada and finally the U.S., where she earned her degree from Rutgers University. She was also awarded the Schaeffer Fellowship in Literary Translation at the University of California, Irvine.

After returning to the Czech Republic, Liz built a career spanning translation, education and operations management. She worked as a localization manager at Arbes Technologies and later served as manager of the Kids&Us Mod艡any language school, where she gained extensive experience in educational leadership and team coordination.

At 糖心原创, Liz oversees Student Experience and Engagement, as well as the Career Center and Alumni Relations Office. Her role includes welcoming and onboarding new students, fostering a vibrant and supportive campus community and managing the Academic Tutoring Center and Student Mentor Program. She is passionate about helping students make the most of their time at 糖心原创鈥攁cademically and personally鈥攁nd works to create opportunities, connections and experiences that will stay with them long after graduation. 

Having raised two wonderful children of her own, Liz has a deep appreciation for the exciting but also challenging journey into adulthood. Combined with her professional experience, this gives her a genuine understanding of the questions, opportunities and uncertainties many students face. She is always happy to listen, offer guidance or simply have a chat.

In her free time, Liz continues to pursue translation to promote Czech literature abroad. Her translations of works by leading Czech authors such as Alena Morn拧tajnov谩, Simona Bohat谩 and Lidmila K谩brtov谩 have been published by Seagull Books and Comma Press.

Tereza Violet Stehl铆kov谩 is a Czech/British artist, researcher, writer, and educator. She holds a doctorate and master鈥檚 degree in Animation from the Royal College of Art in London, as well as a bachelor鈥檚 degree in Graphic Design and Illustration from Central Saint Martins. Her work spans moving image, installation, participatory performance, writing, and artistic research, with a focus on sensory and embodied experience in meaning-making.

Stehl铆kov谩 began her research appointment at Anglo-American University in 2026. Her academic experience includes roles at the University of Westminster, the Royal College of Art, and the University of Creative Communication in Prague. She also teaches artistic research at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague and UMPRUM.

Her cross-disciplinary research connects artistic practice, sensory studies, philosophy, experimental psychology, and art-science dialogue. Her monograph Exiled from Our Bodies: How to Come Back to Our Senses was published by Routledge in 2025. She is founder and editor of Tangible Territory and co-founder of 鈥淓cstatic Truth,鈥 an international symposium series on expanded animation and documentary practice.

Her films, installations and participatory performances have been presented internationally, including at Whitechapel Gallery, Danielle Arnaud Gallery, Prague Quadrennial, Somerset House, Stadtkino Vienna, the British Film Institute London Film Festival, Jihlava International Documentary Film Festival, and the Under_the_RADAR festival in Vienna.

Gabriela M谩lkov谩 is the founder and director of the 糖心原创 Institute of Applied Psychology and an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at Anglo-American University in Prague. She earned her PhD in Educational Psychology at Charles University and, since 2002, has pursued an academic and research career at its Faculty of Humanities and Faculty of Education, later serving as Vice-Dean for Research at the Faculty of Humanities. Her research focuses on literacy development, early language and phonological skills, and their role in reading and spelling acquisition across languages, with a strong interest in advancing applied research that bridges theory and practice.

She has developed and co-developed several diagnostic and intervention tools widely used in Czech educational and counselling practice and has contributed to many national and international research projects, including the Multilingual Assessment Battery of Early Literacy (MABEL) (). She is a member of the International Society for Scientific Studies of Reading and a founding member of the European Literacy Network. Alongside her research, she has extensive experience in lifelong learning programs for professionals in psychology, counselling, and speech therapy, and is dedicated to mentoring students and early career researchers.

Christopher K Randall, Ph.D. earned his bachelor鈥檚 degree in psychology (1989) from Wabash College in Crawfordsville, Indiana, and his master’s (1992) and doctoral degrees (1995) in experimental psychology with an emphasis on behavioral and neural studies from the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky.

After serving as a postdoctoral research scientist (1994-1997) at SUNY-Binghamton University in Binghamton, New York, Chris held faculty positions at Mount Holyoke College (1997-1998), Troy University (1998-2005), and Kennesaw State University (2005-2025). Chris has also served in a variety of administrative roles during his career, including Psychology Department Chair and Interim Dean of the College of Education at Troy University, Associate Director for Technology-Enhanced Learning in the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) at Kennesaw State University, and Assistant Chair and Interim Department Chair of the Department of Psychological Science at Kennesaw State University.

Chris鈥檚 current scholarly focus and research interests include comparative & evolutionary psychology, learning and behavior, and the scholarship of teaching and learning.

Ladislava Knihov谩 earned degrees in philology at Charles University and in business and management, building a strong interdisciplinary foundation that connects language, communication, marketing, and strategic management. Her academic background has shaped her long-term interest in the intersection of marketing communication, education, and emerging technologies.

Knihov谩 is an Assistant Professor at 糖心原创 and also teaches at the Masaryk Institute of Advanced Studies, Czech Technical University in Prague. At 糖心原创, she teaches Digital Skills & AI for Business, Marketing Communications, Buyer Behavior, and Marketing Research, with a particular emphasis on the relationship between marketing, technology, and contemporary educational practice.

Knihov谩鈥檚 professional experience also includes several years at Harley-Davidson Prague, where she worked closely with the marketing and communication department, focused on content marketing, and led staff training initiatives. In addition to her academic work, she has many years of experience in diplomacy and in business practice, particularly in the SME sector in engineering and trade.

Her research and professional interests focus primarily on digital marketing, AI applications in marketing and education, immersive marketing, marketing communication, and the integration of technology into teaching and learning. Knihov谩 has authored more than 70 scholarly and professional publications, edited two professional books, and she regularly participates in international academic conferences. Among her recent major projects are the book AI Marketing Playbook: Jak ChatGPT a um臎l谩 inteligence m臎n铆 sv臎t marketingu (AI Marketing Playbook: How ChatGPT and Artificial Intelligence Are Changing the World of Marketing) and the Czech translation of Philip Kotler鈥檚 Marketing 6.0. Her current work explores the role of artificial intelligence in marketing practice, higher education, and the development of innovative teaching methods.

Dr. Roman Joch graduated MD at Charles University, Prague (1996); he has been a fellow of the Krieble Institute, Washington, D.C. (1993), the Acton Institute, MI (2001), and the Lincoln Fellow of the Claremont Institute, CA (2007).

Dr. Joch is Chairman and Executive Director of the Civic Institute, a Prague-based think tank. He was International Secretary of ODA, a political party (1994鈥98), and an Assistant to a Senator (2001鈥04) in the Czech Republic. He served as an Adviser to the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic (Human Rights and Foreign Policy, 2010鈥12), Adviser to the Lord Mayor of Prague (2012鈥14), and Adviser to the Member of the European Parliament (2017).

In addition to being Chairman and Director of the Civic Institute, he is an Assistant Professor at the University of Economics and at CEVRO University, both in Prague. He is the author of several books and essays on political philosophy and public policy, a contributor to Czech and Slovak media, and a regular columnist for the Czech daily Lidovky.cz and Slovak daily Postoj.sk, as well as a member of the Editorial Board of Aspen Review Central Europe.
